Waterford, the eponymous brand of cut crystal glassware that has been crafted for centuries in a small Irish seaside town, is synonymous with elegant, at-home entertaining. The brand benefits from high visibility and awareness in the United States—possibly even more so than it does in its homeland. And since 2000, the brand has been outfitting the Times Square ball with crystal panels for the famous New Year’s Eve drop.
We at the Liquor Cabinet are big fans of the beautifully intricate details in the coupes, highballs, and rocks glassware, as evidenced from the occasional post on our Instagram feed featuring various pieces from the Waterford collection. And over the past couple of years, we’ve become friends with the glassware makers, forging a strong bond that’s connected by our mutual love for perfected cocktails and the beautiful accoutrement that surrounds our sipping.
This summer, Waterford tasked us with creating a trio of instructional videos that showcases their glassware in action.
